Resetting Your C3 Password
Like many programs that handle sensitive data, C3 has been designed with robust security for its users in mind. Best practices dictate that frequent password resets are included as part of this security, so a quick and easy password reset process has been included right on the C3 sign in screen.
Once you click on the “Reset Password” link, the system will display one of two messages. If you receive the message
please click on the link displayed to visit the helpdesk and create a ticket, as your C3 account has expired. However, if you receive the message
please check Outlook for the password reset email below.
The top email will contain a temporary password. If you do not see these emails in your Inbox you may be using the Focused Inbox setting. Please click on “Other” located above your list of emails. This will bring you to the Other Inbox, and the C3 emails should be located there.
If you do not have the “Other” option and do not see the emails in your Inbox, please check your spam folder. You may also have a rule set up that forwards system emails to a specific folder. If so, check that folder for the emails.
Once you locate the emails and click on the top one, copy and paste the temporary password into the Password field on the C3 login screen, and sign in. You will be prompted to create a new password.
This new password must contain between 12 and 32 characters including at least one number, one capital letter and one lowercase letter. You also cannot use any of your past 12 passwords.
Once you create a new password, you will be logged into C3. Don’t forget your new password!
