As you know, Since February 2021, there have been restrictions in place in Claims3TM for documents with password protection. If you attempt to add a document to Claims3TM that is password protected, you will receive the following error message:

 

We have additional work-arounds to getting these documents into the claim files.

 

How do I upload the document to claim file?

 

First, please do not select “Report to Support”. This sends a Fresh Service ticket to IT - they will not be able to assist you in removing the password

 

  • If you have the password or can open and view the document without a password: 
    1. Print the document as a pdf and save it to your desktop. (Even if the document is already a pdf, you will print it and save it to your desktop.) 
    2. Drag and drop the pdf from your desktop to the appropriate Claims3TM folder. This should resolve the password protection issue.  
  • If you are unable to open the document, contact the sender to obtain the password. Once you have the password, follow the steps above to download the document.
