Registering your YubiKey with Okta
Open Google Chrome and sign into your Okta account at narisk.okta.com
Click your name at the top right corner of the screen, and choose Settings
Click the green Change Settings button at the top right of the screen
Scroll down to the “Extra Verification” menu on the bottom left, and click Set up next to “Security Key or Biometric Authenticator”
Click the Setup button on the next screen
Click Enroll on the next screen
Choose Security key on the next screen, then click Next
Click OK on the pop up window
Click OK on the next pop up window
Insert the key into a USB port on your computer, laptop, or docking station
Enter a Security Key PIN twice on the next pop up, then click OK
Touch the security key on the metal circle when prompted
You will be immediately prompted to touch your key again
Click OK on the next screen
Signing into Okta using your YubiKey
Navigate to narisk.okta.com/
Enter your username and password and click Sign In
On the pop up window that appears, select Security key and click Next
Enter the PIN for the YubiKey that you created during key registration and click OK
Touch the security key on the metal circle when prompted
Resetting a YubiKey PIN
**The user is unable to complete this process. Resetting the PIN must be done by someone in IT**
Click Download now and download the Windows (x64) version
Install the YubiKey Manager on your machine
Launch YubiKey Manager as a local admin
Click Applications, then FIDO2
Click Reset FIDO, then Yes
Ask the user to remove and reinsert the key
Direct the user to complete the above key registration process
